To edit an existing audit form, click the EDIT pencil
beside the form you want to edit. If no results from audits conducted
on this audit form have been uploaded to the system yet, you may edit
any of the data associated with the form.
However, only certain modifications can be made to an audit form if the results from an audit conducted on the form have already been uploaded into the system. This is because the results of all audits conducted on a specific form must contain the same information in order to create a meaningful report. Therefore, you may change the Audit Name or Audit ID, for example, but you may not add another question or change the point value of a question once an audit has been conducted on that form.
Once an audit has been conducted on a form and uploaded into the system, you may only edit the following information:

*Use extreme care when changing the text of a question or an answer choice to prevent invalidating reports based on specific audit results. For example, you may want to re-state the question to make it easier for the auditor to understand, but if you change the question altogether, the audit results may become meaningless. |
