Request an Audit

This option allows a user with SCHEDULE REQUEST permission to request that
an audit be scheduled on a specific location. Typically, once the audit
is requested, the request goes to the audit company (either a 3rd party
auditing company or an internal auditing department), who will then schedule
the audit.
REQUESTING AN AUDIT BE SCHEDULED
- On the menu bar, select Audit
> Schedule Audit > Request an Audit.
The Request Audit page opens, displaying a list of locations.
- Click the selection checkbox to the left of the location that you
want to request an audit for, then click the REQUEST AUDIT button.
The Request Audit - Location page opens. (NOTE: At any time, you
may review the information from the last audit performed by clicking
the PREVIOUS AUDIT tab on the left.)
- On the GENERAL INFO tab, select the form to use for the audit from
the SCHEDULE FORM droplist. All forms available to this location appear
in the list.
- Select the type of audit that is being requested from the FORM
TYPE droplist.
- From the SCHEDULE NAME droplist, select the schedule name associated
with the audit company who will be conducting this audit. Only schedules
eligible to conduct audits on this location appear in the list. In
many cases, only one schedule will be available.
- In the PERFORMANCE DATES fields, select the Start and End dates
when this audit is to be conducted. By default, today's date appears
in these fields. Click the CALENDAR button beside the Start/End date
fields to display a calendar from which to select different dates.
- You may add notes pertaining to this request.
- Click the SAVE button.

This completes the request process. This audit now appears in the list
of audits that have been requested. (To view this list, select Audit
> Schedule Audits > Requested Audits.)
When the audit company user who is responsible for scheduling audits
on this location logs in, a task will appear in the Activities list to
indicate that an audit needs to be scheduled.
