Installation Instructions
MOBILE AUDITOR PC
Follow the directions below to install the Mobile Auditor PC application on your computer. Note that if you do not have access to the Mobile Auditor PC Installation CD, and you have access to the RizePoint website, an installer is available inside the Mobile Auditor Installers folder at Accessories | Files & Downloads.
- Insert the Mobile Auditor PC Installation CD into your CD drive, then double click the Setup.exe icon.
A small setup screen will appear. Click OK to continue the installation.
- At the installation Welcome screen, click NEXT to continue.
- By default, the Mobile Auditor application is installed on the C drive. However, you may choose a different location. You may also choose the DISK COST button to view how much space will be used.
- To make Mobile Auditor PC available to all of the people using this computer, choose Everyone. If you are the only who will need to access Mobile Auditor from this computer, select Just me.
- Click NEXT.
- To confirm the installation, click NEXT. The installation process begins.
- When the installation finishes, an Installation Complete screen appears. To finish the installation, click the CLOSE button.
Congratulations! You have successfully installed Mobile Auditor PC.
NOTE: Windows 7 and Windows Vista users: Once you've completed the installation process, you'll need to configure the application shortcut to be RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR.
- Delete the shortcut to the Mobile Auditor PC application, and then create a new shortcut.
- Right-click on the new shortcut and select PROPERTIES.
- Click the ADVANCED button.
- Check the box beside the RUN AS ADMINISTRATOR option.
- Click OK. Each time you run the application, you will be asked if you want to run it as Administrator.
UNINSTALLING THE MOBILE AUDITOR PC APPLICATION
To uninstall Mobile Auditor PC, go to the Start Menu > All Programs > RizePoint > Mobile Auditor PC > Uninstall and follow the onscreen instructions.
NOTE: Always install the Mobile Auditor PC application on the C drive of your local computer. Attempting to run the application from a network drive results in errors.
