Navigating the Audit Screen
MOBILE AUDITOR PPC
The audit screen contains many options and commands to assist you in conducting the audit. Before you begin the audit, you should become familiar with these controls:
AUDIT MENU
- VIEW/PRINT REPORT- Allows you to select one of three basic reports to display or print: a FULL report, a SUMMARY report, or a CATEGORY report.
- CLOSE - Saves and closes the audit in its current state. You may open this audit at a later time for review or to complete the audit.
- DELETE - Deletes the audit without saving.
- SIGNATURE - Displays the signature screen. Use the stylus to sign the audit in the appropriate field. Both the auditor and the appropriate manager must sign the audit form before it can be uploaded to the database. This menu option is disabled until all required questions have been answered.
- CUSTOM COMMENTS (Menu) - Allows the auditor to predefine custom comments that may be used with any question on the audit form.
- INVENTORY - (Optional. This menu item is only available when the Inventory option is enabled.)
VIEW MENU
- QUESTION:
- NOTES - Displays the Notes window, allowing you to enter notes about the selected question. (This command is the same as tapping the NOTES button at the bottom of the audit window.)
- POLICY - Displays the Policy file, if one exists, for the selected question. A policy file may contain important information or guidelines to help you determine the appropriate answer choice. Selecting this command is the same as tapping the POLICY button at the bottom of the window.
- NEXT/PREVIOUS QUESTION - Displays the next or previous question on the audit form. Selecting one of these commands is the same as tapping the NEXT/PREVIOUS QUESTION button at the top of the audit window.
- NEXT/PREVIOUS UNANSWERED - Displays the next or previous unanswered question on the audit form. Selecting one of these commands is the same as tapping the NEXT/PREVIOUS UNANSWERED button at the bottom of the audit window.
- TAKE TEMPERATURE - (Optional. This menu option is available only when using an approved temperature probe.)
- UNANSWER - Removes the answer from the selected question. You can also double-tap an answer choice to remove the selected answer.
- AUDIT CATEGORY:
- NOTES - Displays the Notes window, allowing you to enter notes for the current category.
- ANSWER ALL - Answers all questions in the current category with the same answer as the last (most recently) answered question. Selecting this option will change previously answered questions. (This applies only to questions of the same type that have the same answer choices available.)
- ANSWER UNANSWERED - Answers all unanswered questions in this category with the same answer as the last answered question. Selecting this option will not change any previously answered questions. (This applies to all unanswered questions of the same type that have the same answer choices available.)
- APPLY DEFAULTS - Applies default answers to all questions in the current category (when default answers have been defined).
- AUDIT:
- SETUP INFORMATION - Displays the Engagement Data screen.
- INSTRUCTIONS - Displays instructions for conducting this audit.
- RATINGS - Displays the scoring procedure for this audit.
- SUMMARY - Displays a summary of the audit as it currently stands. The summary includes the number of questions answered and the results of those questions. All questions that received non-compliant answers are listed at the bottom of the summary window. You may select a question from the list, then tap the GO TO button to "jump" to that question on the audit form. (This menu entry is optional and may not be available.)
- SIGNATURE - Displays the signature screen. Use the stylus to sign the audit in the appropriate field. Both the auditor and the appropriate manager must sign the audit form before it can be uploaded to the database. This menu option is disabled until all required questions have been answered. (This command is the same as the SIGNATURE command in the Audit menu.)
- NOTES - Displays the Notes window, allowing you to enter notes on the audit as a whole.
- MARK COMPLETE - Allows you to mark the audit as complete, even though not all questions have been answered. (Note: If this audit form was configured to require that all questions be answered, this option will not be available.)
- FONTS - Allows you to change the size of the fonts displayed.
- VIEW INFO - (Optional. This menu command is only available when the bar code option is enabled.)
HELP MENU
- HOW DO I - Displays the current Help file. Selecting this command is the same as tapping the HELP button at the top of the audit window.
- CUSTOMER SUPPORT - Displays the RizePoint Customer Support telephone number.
- ABOUT - Displays the version of Mobile Auditor that is currently running.

The following buttons appear at the top of the audit screen, next to the menus: |

PREVIOUS QUESTION - Tapping this button moves to the previous question. |

NEXT QUESTION - Tapping this button advances to the next question. |

HELP - Tapping this button displays the Mobile Auditor PPC Help file. |
These buttons appear at the bottom of the audit screen: |

PREVIOUS UNANSWERED QUESTION - Tapping this button moves to the previous unanswered question. |

NEXT UNANSWERED QUESTION - Tapping this button advances to the next unanswered question. |

POLICY - Tapping this button displays the policy file associated with this question. If no policy file exists, the button is dimmed and unavailable. |

NOTES - Tapping this button opens the Notes window. |
Category drop-down list
Use the category drop-down list to move between categories. Select the category in which you want to work from the drop-down list.
A bullet (
) beside a category name indicates that all questions in that category have been answered.
Extended category navigation (optional)
When this option is enabled, the category drop-down list is replaced with a Category button. The name of the current category appears on the button.
Tapping the category button displays the categories in a navigation pane on the left side of the audit screen, allowing you to navigate to a specific category or question. Pen tap the plus sign (
) to expand the category to display the subcategories contained within it. You may also pen tap the EXPAND CATEGORY button at the bottom of the screen to display/hide the subcategories.
A red checkmark
beside a category indicates that all questions within the category have already been answered.
