Task Types

The Program Compliance module contains specific types of tasks. When you create a new task, you must specify which type of task you're creating. While you cannot add or delete task types, or change the functionality of a specific task, this menu command allows you to change the task names to better reflect your organization's internal terminology. Note that only Task Types that you have access to through an associated permission appear in the list.

The task types available in Program Compliance are:

• TASK - This is a general task, such as you might find on a TO DO list.
• FORM - This task type requires an internal audit to assure that the assigned tasks have been successfully completed.
• VERIFICATION AUDIT - This task type requires an outside audit to verify that the assigned tasks or goals have been completed.

• PAYMENT - This task type involves a payment.

• CERTIFICATION - This task requires a location to provide proof that a required, recurring certification has been completed by the expiration date. It also automatically creates the due date for the subsequent renewal cycle of the same certification.  

To change the name of a task type:

1. Go to Programs > Task Types. The available task types are displayed in a table.
2. To change a task name, click in the Edit pencil beside the task name that you want to edit.
   
   
3. Change the name of the task in the editable field provided.
   
   
4. Click the UPDATE button to save the change, or click the CANCEL button to cancel the edit.
