Sending Feedback Reports Manually by Email or Fax

OPTIONAL FEATURE - Contact your RizePoint representative to enable/disable this option.

This feature allows you to manually send audit results by email or fax to one or more designated recipients directly from the list of feedback reports. When this option is enabled, an EMAIL button appears at the top of the list of available feedback reports. Clicking this button sends the selected feedback report to the specified recipients. Note that this option is not tied to any automated feedback rule.

To manually send audit results:

  1. Log on as a user with AUDIT RESULTS: VIEW permission.
  2. Go to Reports > Feedback Reports or Audit > View Audit Results. Either of these navigation paths takes you to the list of audit results.
  3. Navigate to the audit result.
  4. In the list of feedback reports available for this audit result, check the box to the left of the report that you want to send, then click the EMAIL button at the top of the list. (Note that you may select more than one feedback report to send.)

    The Send Feedback page opens.

  5. Click SEND.

The report is sent to the designated recipient(s).

The Feedback Log contains a record of all email feedback. This includes feedback that is sent automatically according to rules that you specified, as well as all feedback that is sent manually from Mobile Reporter. To view the feedback log, go to System > Monitoring > Automated Feedback Log.

RESTRICTING ACCESS BY PERMISSION

When the above option is enabled, all users with access to the list of feedback reports can send reports manually from the feedback report list. However, RizePoint can configure the option to allow only users with specific permission the ability to send the reports manually. When configured in this manner, a new permission, MANUALLY SEND FEEDBACK REPORTS FROM AUDIT RESULT PROFILE, is available. The EMAIL button will only be available to users with this permission. Contact RizePoint for assistance.

When using this option, an EMAIL button is also placed at the top of the feedback report window itself. This allows users to send email directly from the report window, without having to return to the list of feedback reports to send email.
