Transitioning from Management Reports to Dashboards

For most customers, Management Dashboards will be immediately available
for adoption by simply contacting your RizePoint Representative. There
are a few customers that have complex systems that will need some modification
of their management structure for it to work with the new data warehouse.
Ensure the following three rules have been followed when setting up
your management structure.
- RULE 1: A location
should only be assigned one time within a single logical hierarchy.
But, that same location could also be assigned to a secondary hierarchy
as well.

- RULE 2: A location
should only be assigned to a specific management type one time. Although
allowed, we recommend you use different naming conventions for each
hierarchy. For example, a hierarchy level like "District"
should only exist within one management tree.

- RULE 3: You can have
a specific management type at different levels, but you cannot assign
the same type to be a parent / child relationship. For example, "District"
could be at level three and four, but you can't have a District at
level four under a District at level three.

If you need help fixing an existing management structure to work with
the new data warehouse, contact your RizePoint Representative.
