Deleting a Role

To delete a role:

  1. Select the role that you want to delete by checking the corresponding checkbox on the left.
  2. Click the DELETE button on the button toolbar. A message displays to confirm that you want to delete the selected role.

  3. Click OK. The role is removed from the list.

 

You cannot delete a role that is currently assigned to a Waiver workflow queue. In order to delete the role, you must first remove it from the waiver queue.
 
To remove a role from a waiver workflow queue:
  1. Go to System > Policies & Waivers > Configure Waiver Queues.
  2. Select the queue to which the role is assigned.
  3. Click the EDIT button to edit the queue.
  4. From the ASSIGNED ROLE droplist, select a different role, which deselects the role that you want to delete.
  5. Click SAVE.

Once the role has been removed from all waiver workflow queues, you can then return to the Roles list and delete the role.
