Limiting Access to Action Plan Fields

This option allows you to determine, through two new permissions, which users have access to the ROOT CAUSE and the PREVENTIVE ACTION fields in the Action Plan feedback report or in the base (legacy) Action Plan report.

When this option is available, two new permissions become available:

• ACTION PLAN - PREVENTIVE ACTION PLAN - Only users with this permission may enter a Preventive Action in an Action Plan report.
• ACTION PLAN - ROOT CAUSE ANALYSIS - Only users with this permission may enter a Root Cause in an Action Plan report.

This option also requires the Enhanced Corrective Action Planning option to be enabled. Otherwise, neither the ROOT CAUSE field nor the PREVENTIVE ACTION field is available, so even users with the appropriate permissions will not have access to either field.
