Report Browser

OPTIONAL FEATURE - Contact your RizePoint representative to enable/disable this option.

This module requires custom setup by RizePoint. All reports that appear in the Report Browser must be configured by a RizePoint engineer.

USING THE REPORT BROWSER

The report browser can be accessed in two different ways, depending on how the site is set up and who is logging in.

• You can designate the Report Browser as the portal page that is displayed whenever specific users log in. For example, you may want the report browser to be the home page of users who require access to the application primarily to view reports. Once these users have logged in, all reports to which they have access are immediately available at a glance.
• Users who also require access to other areas of the application can access the Report Browser by selecting the REPORT BROWSER command in the Reports menu.

The ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE - SIMPLE permission is required in order to access the Report Browser.

To view a report:

1. Select a report in the Reports section (upper left corner). A preview of the selected report appears beside it on the right. This image is just a preview to give you a brief indication of the overall look of the report.
   
   

   You may specify the default image that appears in the Preview area of the window (upper right corner) when no report is selected.

2. Use the filter droplists in the bottom section of the window to configure the report as desired. You may need to scroll down to access the filters.
   
   

   Note that only the filters that are available for the selected report are available in the lower section of the window. Not all filters are available on all reports.

3. Click the LAUNCH button at the bottom to run the report.
   
   

   The report runs.
   
   

4. Click the REPORTS link at the top to return to the Report Browser window.
