Certifying Hardware

If you choose to purchase hardware devices that are not on the Recommended Hardware list or the Tier 1 Supported Devices list, we recommend using RizePoint's Hardware Certification program.  Choosing to certify hardware that is not on the Recommended and Supported lists provides you with the following benefits:

In order to certify a hardware device, we will need at least one device sent to RizePoint to remain on-site for the two year support life.  This hardware will be used to certify the device with every new release of the RizePoint app.  It will also be used to certify the RizePoint app when new OS updates occur within the two year support window for the device.

For certification, we require one (1) device is sent to RizePoint; however, we recommend two (2) devices be sent to remain on-site at RizePoint to provide expedited certification and support.

You may also choose to send the device to RizePoint for initial testing, then have it returned to you. If you decide to go this direction, you will need to provide a return postage-paid label for the return of the hardware device.  This will verify, not certify, the device and the device will fall within the Tier 2 Support structure.  The verification process only provides testing and support for the current software version at the time.
