The permission to allow a user to create, edit and delete Active Home Pages is part of the group of System permissions which are typically assigned to administrative users only. For this reason, we recommend that Active Home Pages be set up only by administrative users.
When you set up an Active Home Page, you must decide what widgets you want the Roles and/or Users in your organization to have access to.
The following permission must be enabled for access to the Active Home Page feature:

When a user's security or access to an Active Home Page changes (e.g., if a user's assignment to roles, locations, forms, or permissions is edited and the user's access to specific Active Home Page widgets is changed), the changes will not be immediately noticeable in any Active Home Page widget until the changes have been fully propagated throughout the application's database. It will occur on the same day, but may not be immediately observable. |
