Edit Corrective Action Items

There are times when you may need to edit a Corrective Action Item.  For example, if you submitted an item for approval and approval was denied with specific changes requested, you may need to go in and modify the current corrective actions.

Each time a change is made to an action item, it is recorded in a change log. For more information about reviewing the history of changes to action items, see View Changes to Action Items.

To edit a Corrective Action Item:

  1. Go to Action Plans > Plans.

    The Plans screen displays.


  2. Click the row of the plan you want to edit.

    The Action Plan Details panel displays.

  3. Click EDIT for the Corrective Action Item you want to edit.



    The Corrective Action Item Edit mode is enabled.


  4. Modify the information, then click UPDATE.
