Independent Action Plans (IAP) allow you to create ad hoc action plans independent of an audit. For example, a manager hires several new employees and notices the sanitizer is not being properly kept in a red container and the proper pH was not being maintained. So, he creates an IAP to identify and perform a training for all new employees. By creating an IAP to make sure the new employees are trained on the proper procedure, it helps the location run more smoothly and proactively ensures smooth audits when an audit does happen. Independent Action Plans allow anyone outside of the audit process, who has the appropriate permissions, to create an action plan that can be tracked, provide notifications, and generate reports from the data.
Independent Action Plans have been designed for use by multi-unit leaders outside of an audit process. It is not recommended for use by auditors during an audit process. |
