Independent Action Plan Setup

 

Before you can use the Independent Action Plans you must first complete the setup to enable the functionality.

Step 1: Assign Permissions

There are two permissions associated with Independent Action Plans—IAP Admin and IAP Create.  For detailed information on assigning permissions, see Assigning Role Permissions and Assigning User Permissions.  For a complete list of permissions, see Permissions List.

 

For these IAP permissions to work, you will also need to enable the View Action Plans permission for CAM.  For detailed information, see Corrective Action Management Permissions.

 

Step 2: Adding or Removing Forms to use for Independent Action Plans

To add forms available for selection with Independent Action Plans:

  1. From the main menu, navigate to Action Plans > IAP Configuration.  The Manage Create Plan Options screen displays.
  2. From the Source List, select the form(s) you want to add, then click ADD to move them to the Destination List.

To remove forms from the Independent Action Plans selection list:

  1. From the main menu, navigate to Action Plans > IAP Configuration.  The Manage Create Plan Options screen displays.
  2. From the Destination List, select the form(s) you want to remove, then click REMOVE to move them to the Source List.
