Search Imported Data

After you have uploaded a data file and joined its data to a worksheet, you can conduct a search on the imported data.

For this example on how to search imported data, we will use data from a previously-uploaded spreadsheet.

 

  1. Navigate to the Search-driven Analytics main menu and select SEARCH.
  2. Click CHOOSE SOURCES.

  3. Select ALL.

  4. Click the checkbox next to the name of the imported data on which you will conduct your search. If necessary, also select the appropriate worksheet on which to search.

  5. Conduct a keyword search. In this example, we are searching the location name and data from the designated worksheet.
  6. The results will display as usual in the pane next to the data sources column.
    If there is a value (a number, text, percentage, etc.) in the data file, it will display in the search results. Notice that a NULL value will display for search results that did not have any values in the data file.

    Use the filter or sort options (the three vertical dots) above each column to display only the data you want to view.
