Audit categories allow you to group similar questions together. Each audit category may contain one or more questions.
When you click AUDIT CATEGORIES, a list of all audit categories is displayed. If no categories have been created yet, a message is displayed informing you that none exist.
From this screen you may:
The Audit Categories screen contains the following options:
RETURN button - returns you to the previous page.
NEW button - allows you to create a new audit category. Every audit form requires at least one audit category. Each category may contain any number of questions. Before you can create a question, you must create a category in which to place it.
IMPORT button - allows you to import an audit category from this or another audit form.
ARCHIVES button - allows you to view archived audit categories. To restore a previously deleted category, click the ARCHIVE button, then select the category you want to restore, and click the RESTORE button.
DELETE button - removes all selected categories from the audit form and places them in an archive folder.
CHECKBOX - allows you to select or deselect categories. Checking the box at the top of the column selects all categories; click the box again to deselect all categories.
EDIT (pencil icon )- allows you to edit the Audit ID, Audit Name, Description, and change the Answer All status of the audit category.
ORDER - displays the order in which audit categories appear in Mobile Auditor. Audit categories appear in the order in which they are created, but if you want to change the order, select the desired position for this category from the drop-down list.
CATEGORY ID - displays the Audit Category ID assigned to this category.
AUDIT CATEGORY NAME - displays the name assigned to this audit category. Clicking the name of the category takes you to the Questions screen where you can add, edit, or delete questions from this category.
AUDIT CATEGORY VIEW - displays the type of view (Question List or Question-Single) that Mobile Auditor uses to display the questions in this audit category.
ANSWER ALL - allows an auditor to answer all questions >in this audit category by selecting the "Answer All" menu option. (Note: This option applies to all question types except Text or Combo box.)
POLICY button - allows you to create a policy file for this category. (Note that category policies are only available in audits conducted in Mobile Auditor PC.)
