Batch Scheduling Audits

The Batch Scheduling functionality only works on client sites that have been upgraded to RizePoint's Responsive Layout (new header and menus) that was released in May 2016. If your site has not been updated to RizePoint's Responsive Layout, please contact your RizePoint representative to have it turned on so that Batch Scheduling can be enabled.

Batch Scheduling is beneficial for organizations that utilize third party auditors to conduct audits. This feature allows you to schedule an audit during a specified date range at a batch of locations.

A typical use case follows this three-step sequence:

  1. First, the administrator at the organization uses the Batch Request Audits feature to set up an audit to be conducted by the audit company at a batch of locations. The administrator specifies the audit type, audit form, a date range for the audit to be completed, and the locations for the audit.
  2. Next, a user at the audit company with the appropriate permissions will log in to view the list of requested audits. The audit company user will review the proposed audit dates, narrow the date range to a specific window of time, select a specific auditor to conduct the audit, and add internal notes to be viewed typically only by the auditor (but not intended for the location).
  3. Finally, the user at the location with the appropriate permissions logs in to view the audit(s) that have been scheduled for that location. The location user can accept or reject the proposed schedule.

Batch Scheduling allows a user with the appropriate permissions to:

When the appropriate Batch Scheduling Permissions are enabled, the user will be able to access the Batch Request Audits option from the main menu (Audit > Schedule Audit > Batch Request Audits).

To use Batch Scheduling, you must already have schedules pre-set in Schedule Setup. To set up schedules, see Manage Schedules.
