The Product Manager module allows administrators to organize product data
into a organized product hierarchy. Administrators can create a database
of linked products and product categories, and associate product and product
categories to audit forms.
The productMANAGER menu entry contains two options:
You may create new products and product categories in any order. However, if you're going to use product categories, it is recommended that you create categories first. Then, as you create products, you can assign them to a category. (Product categories are not required.)
In addition to adding Products and Product Categories directly to the Product Manager, you may also import batch product data from a spreadsheet. See Import/Exporting Product Data for details.
Once you've set up the Product database, be sure to check the Mobile Auditor configuration file of the users who will be using the product data to conduct audits.
